Edward Sherry

Edward M. "Ed" Sherry age 77 of Painesville Twp. passed away on March 15, 2025 at Tripoint Hospital. He was born on July 26, 1947 in Rochester, NY to the late Edward and Barbara (nee: Winter) Sherry, Sr. Ed worked in management in the steel industry for many years and then enjoyed a second career meeting new friends as he worked the deli counter at Heinen's. He was an avid reader and was a sports fanatic. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, baseball, and basketball. Ed was a member of St. Mary Church in Painesville. He is survived by his loving wife Teresa (nee: Kubeja) Sherry; daughter, Jennifer (Andrew) Werner; son, Matthew Sherry; grandchildren, Kylie Werner and Erin Werner; sister, Donna Williams; brothers, David (Tina) Sherry, and Daniel (Kathy) Sherry. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Maureen Sherry. Private burial will be held at a later date.
