Edward Simon Obituary
Age 77, of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024.
Preceded in death by parents, Charles & Clara (Needham) Simon, Sr.; and brothers, Charles "Chris" Simon, Jr. & Michael Simon.
Survived by his cat, Penny; sister, Susan (Jim) Widerski; nieces & nephews, Anna Widerski, Ron Widerski, Steve (Kacie) Widerski, April Simon; grand nieces & nephews, Allison (Mike) Dilley, Nick Widerski, Chris Widerski, Jordan Livingston, Savannah Simon; great-grand nieces & nephews, Madeline Widerski, Melanie Widerski, Carson Dilley; and many cousins & friends.
Ed grew up in St. Paul and attended Tilden School and graduated from Murray High School. Following graduation, he worked for Whirlpool until their closure. After Whirlpool, Ed worked for Metal-Matic for 27 years until his retirement in 2012. During his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his cats and photography. Ed will be deeply missed by his family & friends.
Visitation 2:30 - 3:30 PM Friday, September 27 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Roseville), 2130 N. Dale St. at County Rd. B followed by a memorial service at 3:30 PM.
