Edward Zamarripa, beloved son of Angelita Zamarripa, peacefully passed away on Tuesday October 7, 2025, in Pleasanton, Texas. He was born on April 29, 1958, in Pleasanton to John Joe Zamarripa and Angelita (Pacheco) Zamarripa.

Edward was a Pleasanton High School Graduate and a graduate of TSTI in Waco, Texas. He was a hard worker as a shop manger for 45 years in the family business Johnny Paint and Body Shop, working alongside his Pop and his brother Henry. He served in the Pleasanton Volunteer Fire Department, also served on the Pleasanton School Board.

Edward was so kind, he would help anyone in need, even if they could not pay, just like his dad. He always took joy in buying someone's lunch, friend or stranger, it did not matter.

Edward enjoyed playing guitar, drag racing, and building a replica of a 1923 C-Cab Panel Wagon, which was his pride and joy. He loved to BBQ and had a passion for making his own meat seasonings. He also enjoyed eating out and taking pictures of his food and posting them on Facebook for everyone to see.

He is preceded in death by his Dad, Johnny Joe Zamarripa.

Edward is survived by his loving Mother, Angelita Zamarripa, Brother, Henry Zamarripa (Sylvia), and Caregivers, Ben Crisp and Jack Garcia.

Edward will be remembered by his numerous cherished friends.
