Edwin D. Ergen

Passed into eternal life and found peace on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Loving father of Mary Lynn (Rick) Rasmussen, Peter (Victoria) Ergen, Michelle (Todd) Bragstad, Michael (Tünde) Ergen, and Keith Ergen. Proud grandfather of 13, great-grandfather of 14 with another blessing on the way. Brother of Lowell and Darlene. Preceded in death by his mother Ozita and siblings James, Howard, Carole, and Charles.

Visitation Monday, January 3, 2021, 10:00 AM at St. Veronica's Church, 4001 S Whitnall Ave., Milwaukee until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment Forest Hill Memorial Park Cemetery Oak Creek.

Edwin was the longtime owner of EDE Masonry. He worked hard his entire life. His priority was caring for his family. He also used his talents as a member of St. Veronica Parish. Though he did not often talk about it, he was a proud Korean War Veteran.

The family thanks the staffs at Compassus Hospice for their support over the past year and Creekside Manor for their great caregiving the past seven months.

It was a family tradition at Christmas not to exchange gifts but instead pool their funds. Ed and Dorothy would then donate them to an organization supporting families in need. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored if you memorialized Ed by contributing to a charity of your choice.
