Edwin Keiffer

Edwin Keiffer, 83, of Columbus, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center Helene Fuld after a short but hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born in Farmington, MI, Edwin met his wife Barbara in Trenton, NJ while residing in Cornwell Heights, PA before moving to Bordentown NJ, where they started their family and raised their three children Ellen, Michele and Kenny together. Edwin and Barbara spent the last 16 years living in the Homestead Retirement Community making many new friends and acquaintances.
Edwin worked as a maintenance mechanic most of his life at several facilities. After retirement he stayed busy working part time as a driver for NADE Auto Dealer Exchange in Columbus, NJ. Edwin was an avid Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish fan and spent many hours watching football and baseball games. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife; however, his most precious joy was spending time with his family and especially watching his three granddaughters grow into very successful young adults.
Son of the late George and Helen Keiffer; father of the late Ellen Keiffer; brother of the late, Leo, Robert, Bernard, Kenneth "Jimmy," Mary, and Shirley; he is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara Keiffer; two children, Michele Henry (Keith), and Kenneth Keiffer (Kimberly); three sisters, June Updike, Catherine Hummell and Hilda Fedak; three grandchildren, Sarah, Caitlyn and Rebecca Henry; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 6-9PM, at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10AM, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton, NJ.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
