Edyth E. Peters, 101, peacefully passed away at home on September 11, 2025.

Edyth Elizabeth Peters was born on September 11, 1924, to Arthur and Caroline (Frank) Badtke in Oconomowoc, WI. She graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1942. On May 26, 1946, Edyth was united in marriage to George Peters at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc.

During World War II, Edyth volunteered with the Red Cross. She later worked at Waukesha Motor Works as a teletype operator, switchboard operator, and receptionist. In later years, she served as a lunch lady for 11 years at Park Lawn and devoted her time to St. John's Ladies Aid. She also volunteered at Watertown Regional Medical Center and with Meals on Wheels.

Edyth was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a woman of deep faith. She enjoyed keeping busy, especially following the loss of her son, Craig. Above all, Edyth treasured her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Edyth is survived by her grandsons, William (Hannah Frank) Peters and Daniel (Christine) Peters; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Albanese; as well as other nieces, a nephew, other relatives and friends.

Edyth was preceded in death by her husband, George Peters; parents; son, Craig Peters; daughter, Judith Peters; brother, Cyril; and sister, Evelyn.
