Eileen Cole Obituary
Eileen was cherished by her family for putting others above herself and for being an attentive listener, always celebrating their successes or offering kind words of encouragement. She was fiercely independent and lived in her family home over 75 years until the day she passed. Eileen enjoyed bowling, golfing and gardening, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Ken) Wilson, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren: Beth (Josh) Rettig, Christian and Anna; Becky Wilson, Lauren; Todd Wilson, Jonah and Aiden; and Brad (Kari) Wilson, Matthew and Hudson.
In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and many dear friends and family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of choice in Eileen's memory. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service will be held for Eileen on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Wakeman Cemetery, located at 651 Farnsworth Road, Waterville, Ohio. Pastor Steve Bauerle will officiate. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home in Waterville, Ohio.
