Eileen F. Payette
Old Orchard Beach
Eileen was a woman surrounded by a plethora of friends, many made through travel and running successful restaurants with her husband, Rick Payette, throughout Old Orchard Beach, and a family who adored her and her well-lived life. Eileen was born on June 7, 1948, a daughter of Charles and Virginia (White) Coyle, in Portsmouth, NH. She grew up in Newcastle, NH, attended the University of New Hampshire, and eventually settled in Old Orchard Beach.
Eileen was known for her love of dining out, her love of costume jewelry and jewelry making, and enjoying adventures with Rick.
Eileen was predeceased by her son, Jeremy, and her husband, Rick. Eileen is survived by her sister, Barbara Gillibrand (husband, Gary Gillibrand), her brother, Fred Coyle (wife, Sue Coyle), her in-laws Sue Allard (husband, Jack Allard), Jeanine Hart (husband, Dick Hart), and Celeste O'Berg (Pete O'Berg), her nieces Jennifer Dickey (husband, Ryan Dickey) and Ginny Kurtz, her nephew Michael Coyle, great niece Isabelle Gillibrand, and great nephew, Alex Tibbetts.
In Eileen's spirit, enjoy a trip to the beach, a great book, a nice meal, time with your loved ones, or a combination of them all.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eileen's name to the Parkinson's Foundation - New England: https://www.parkinson.org/newengland

Eileen and I have shared a close and special friendship for over 50 years. She freely shared her love, kindness, patience and guidance. From early childhood on, our families had a close relationship. Her son, Jeremy, and my son, Adam, and my daughter, Sarah, were best of friends. I will miss Eileen and always remember her with honor, love and joys. Blessings to Eileen and Rick. Nancy Brown

Eileen and Rick, two wonderful people of our community, whether taking care of you at the Landmark for a perfect dinner night, or coming in to shop and support fellow local business. Kind to all they touched. Deepest sympathies, Hanson's Hardware, Ron, Kristen, Erica and Emily.

Eileen has always been a beautifully intense person. She was a person in my childhood that I always wished was my mother. She was an incredible mother to her son Jeremy and I remember so admiring their connection, friendship and love. Later on, as I grew to develop an adult friendship with her, I so appreciated her generosity and her amazing ability to listen and respond in a thoughtful, meaningful way. So many times she received our family generously, and with joy and interest at her various restaurants at old Orchard Beach. My daughters really liked her. She was one of my mother“s dearest friends. In the last year, she really came forward both for myself, and for my mother, as a confidant and glorious supporter and friend. I feel blessed to have known Eileen most of my life and to call her my friend - she will be so missed! Love you, Eileen forever, and always.
