Eileen Sakmar Obituary
Eileen was born on May 22, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Norman L. and Elizabeth Manning Farnbauer
She lived in the area her whole life and worked at the Oven Restaurant and the Moyer Pant Company and worked most of the time as a hairdresser at the Assumption Nursing home from where she retired. She was a member of St. Paul Church where she was a Pirohy worker and a member of the Altar Guild., She enjoyed crocheting, reading and doing puzzles. Her greatest enjoyment was visiting her kids and grandkids.
Eileen married Joseph E. Sakmar on January 12, 1952, and he passed away June 22, 1991.
She leaves five children Mary Ann (Mark) Bradbury in Hubbard, OH, Thomas E. (Tina) Sakmar of Courtland, OH, Joseph J. (Erin) Sakmar of Bonita Springs, FL., Karen (Al Fast) Metzinger of Columbiana, OH, Kenneth J. (Amie) Sakmar of Atlanta, GA., one sister Rita Mae Combis of Poland, OH; also 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 4 great -great grandchildren.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband and her parents; one son Phillip Sakmar; one brother James Farnbauer; one step grandchild Michael Abighanem, and one nephew Michael Helon.
Friends may call on Friday before the prayer service at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
