M. Elaine (Yeager) McFall Green, age 98, of Germantown, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 27, 2025, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties in Middletown, Ohio. Born June 10, 1927, in Terre Haute, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Golda Glen (Riggs) and Maurice Vincent Yeager. She graduated from Indiana State High School and attended Purdue University. Throughout her career, she held several secretarial positions and ultimately retired as a bookkeeper from PK Lumber.
Elaine was an active member of Emmanuel's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Germantown, she served in various church groups including the Choir, Sunday School, Sewing, Lutheran Women's Circle, and Lutheran Women's Council. She was also involved with the Mom's Club, Trefoil Nature Group, and volunteered at Sycamore Hospital for 18 years. A dedicated Volksmarch walker, she completed over 200 10-kilometer walks.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven sisters: Joan Robinson, Mary Glen Smith, Ida Rose Barkhurst, June Criss, Wanda Fortune, and Elizabeth Hodapp. Elaine is survived by her husband of 67 years, William Conrad "Connie" Green; their children Carol Sexton (Larry), David Green (Robyn), and Alan Green; four grandchildren, Jeremy Sexton (Zulith), Daniel Sexton (Deirdre), Matthew Green, and Cameron Green; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Emily Blank; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 4 - 5 P.M., Wednesday September 10, 2025, at Emmanuel's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 30 W. Warren St., Germantown, OH, where the Celebration of Life will follow at 5 p.m. The Graveside Committal Service will be held 11:30 A.M., Thursday September 11th, at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45232.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Emmanuel's Lutheran Church. Dalton Funeral Home, Germantown, is serving the family. Condolences may be shared at daltonfh.net.
