Elaine Green, a compassionate soul who believed in the pure power of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025 with her loving family around her. Born on September 29, 1932, in Ogden, Utah, Elaine was a beacon of light and warmth to all those fortunate enough to cross her path. Elaine was sealed to the love of her life, Blaine Green on October 18, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Elaine's radiant smile and infectious laughter filled her home in Huntsville, Utah, with joy and happiness.

Elaine spent her professional life as a medical assistant, where her talented hands and caring heart brought comfort and healing to countless individuals. She also was a secretary and CPA. Her dedication to her career was only surpassed by her commitment to her family, to whom she was fiercely devoted. She was a steadfast presence at family gatherings, and her love for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren was evident in every interaction. Elaine was also a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elaine's hobbies reflected her vibrant spirit and zest for life. She was an avid fisherman, a country western dancer, and a competitive pinochle player. She found joy in her trips to Wendover, tending to her garden, riding horses and she was an avid bird watcher, especially, chickadees, hummingbirds, orioles. But most of all, she cherished being with her family. It was once said, "Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around." Elaine embodied this sentiment, touching lives with her warmth and compassion.

Elaine is survived by her daughters NaDene (Danny) Allen, Sharol Dolan, and Carol Elton; her son Chad (Carolee) Green; 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren; and her sister Renee (Jay) Holley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Green, her parents, Hudson Greenwell, who died when she was three, Neta and Glen Shupe; a sister; Glenda Spencer, a brother, Thorpe Shupe; twin grandchildren, NaTallia Kloie and Chandler Ryan Barnard; and a great-great grandson, Trey Dan Allen.

Elaine's memory will forever be a source of inspiration and strength for all who knew her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and commitment to her family will echo in their hearts for generations to come. We encourage everyone to share their memories and upload photos of Elaine on her memorial page www.myers-mortuary.com.

The family is holding private family services.

Until we meet again, somewhere over the rainbow.
