Elaine Suwyn Obituary

Elaine was born on October 20, 1926, in Vesper, the daughter of John and Cora (Bussema) Holstein.
On June 16, 1949, Elaine was united in marriage to Peter Suwyn in Vesper. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2009.
The couple dairy farmed for many years until their retirement. Elaine loved puzzles and coloring in her coloring books. She enjoyed watching old tv shows and the Andy Griffith Show was her favorite. Elaine also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Bucks.
Elaine is survived by a son, Dennis (friend, Debbie VanToll) Suwyn; son-in-law, Dennis (Renae) Hafenbreadl; two grandchildren, Heather (friend, Dave) Suwyn and Nickolas (Katie) Suwyn; two great-grandchildren, Cale and Tinley; one brother, John (Nancy) Holstein; sister-in-law, Betty Vlietstra and several nieces and nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Roxanne Hafenbreadl, four sisters and two brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood. Mr. Kelvin Fraaza will officiate. Burial will be in Forestville Cemetery, town of Easton. Visitation will be on Saturday, from 10AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
