Elder Dennis Horn, age 71 of Danville, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025 at St. Mary's Hospital.

Dennis was born September 13, 1954 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Calvin Ray & Beatrice Owens Horn. He was the Pastor and a member of the Mt Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church. He was a member and founder of the Dutch Creek Volunteer Fire Department. He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department.

Dennis was loved by all; he was willing to do whatever necessary to help anyone. He was the strongest man around for many. A renaissance man willing to teach every person willing to learn. He took advantage of every opportunity to preach, to spread the word of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, J.W. Horn; sister, Carolyn Clegg; and nephew Chris McGeath.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years Nancy Horn; daughter, Grace & Timothy Rose; son, John Horn; special cousin Odis Grimes; sisters & brothers-in-law, Harold & Sharon Russell; Darrell Russell & Mona Symonds; Joseph & Tina Russell; and Kammie & Mike Sweeten; grandchildren, Phoebe Rose, Robert & Taryn Rose and Tyler Rose; several nephews, nieces a host of family and friends and his fur babies Cindy Lou, Harley, Copper, and Snow Boy.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Mt. Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Mark Green and Elder Dana Kinsey. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, October 5, at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery

Pallbearers include Lonnie Symonds, Lloyd Symonds, Mike Sweeten, Justin Fowler, Joe Horn, and Marcus Stout.
