EASTON---Eleanor Ruth Churchill, 92, a resident of Easton for the past 46 years, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at home under the care of her family. She was the wife of the late George Churchill. Born in Boston on March 16, 1920, a daughter of the late James and Eleanor (Hannah) Churchill, she was raised in Quincy and was a graduate of North Quincy High School. Eleanor was employed as a cafeteria worker at Oliver Ames High School Easton. She also operated J & R. Ceramics Studio and during WWII she was a member of the Duration Doodler's Club which wrote to soldiers serving overseas during the war. Her hobbies included arts & crafts, crocheting, and knitting. She was an avid roller skater and loved traveling and visiting Disney world in Florida. She is survived by a daughter, Geraldine Churchill of Easton; a son, George Churchill of Easton; a sister, Florence Spinney of Hanson; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Raymond Caseley and Jessie Perry. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton on Friday from 5-9 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 8:00 p.m. For condolences visit www.kanefuneralhome.com'
