I remember Elisa from Sarah Jane Adams Elementary. She was a positive inspiration. I am truly grateful for having shared that small part of our different journeys. I will remember her fondly.

I know Elisa best from the summers we spent at Special Needs Summer Camp. She was smiling so often and building friendships. Elisa was always willing to help anyone. Elisa loved to see the success of others as she taught, encouraged and shared her talents with them. Paramount in my camp memories is Elisa's devotion to her sister, Lisa. Please express my sympathy to Lisa. Pat, I often think of you on your road less traveled. May you and your family know of my care and prayers for you at this time.

Elisa is such a wonderful person! I can't imagine the sense of loss as she stepped across the veil ahead of you all- her special family. Thank you for sharing these sweet ladies with us in many special Sacrament meetings in our area. I hope you feel the love of the Savior at this time.

I worked with this sweet young lady in high school while in tutoring class. She was always a joyful person to see every day.

I remember the day they were born. My daughter was due that day but came 2 days later! I worked with her at Walmart and loved to see her smiling face. She was such a ray of sunshine. She will be sitting at the right hand of god because she has proved herself worthy. Loved her very much.

We have been sitting here with tears and much appreciation for the many years we had gone to our reunions and bonded with the twins. After Max' sister died(their grandmother) they seemed to need us and we had enjoyed their fun and sweet spirits as they clung to us. Gpa especially bonded with Lisa as she couldn't run and play with the rest of us---so he would sit by her and tease her and really get her to giggle . Elise followed me everywhere and she was in our camper more than anywhere else.

To all the Hansen family. I am confident that the angels in Heaven are joyful at Elisa's arrival. It is a privilege to have seen Elise grow from a delightful child to a gregarious young lady and then a beautiful woman. She came into her own personality and found her voice. I remember how she liked to take her turn reading a scripture aloud in Church meetings and how she loved little children and they always gravitated to her. Elise's lifetime example of Christlike service, both directly and indirectly, inspire me to be a better person. She has always lifted me up by being who she is. My heart and prayers are with all of you at this time of temporary separation.

God bless you Pat, Dave and family. This is a tender time and I know that you will miss that amazing lady. (I watched all the videos I could find on YouTube). Even though decades have passed, I feel a connection to those precious twins. Now she has graduated and will continue to grow and learn unhindered by the difficulties she faced here. Sending love and hugs your way. Sue (Wooly) Beard.

I will always remember her sweet face and huge smile greeting me at Walmart and yes, even the pretty tiaras. She and her sister came to our sacrament meeting once with the special needs ward and left us with a most beautiful message and spirit. I am grateful to have experienced her life if only for a brief time in passing. May the Lord pour out peace and blessings on you all as a family.

Our family wishes to express our great love for Elise and your entire family. Elise touched our lives in so many ways. Listening to her answer questions and read scriptures in Relief Society when I first moved to Clinton moved me to tears and gave me great hope for Julias future. I will always remember that special experience. We love all of you and will hold your family and dear Elise close to our hearts forever.

I am sorry to hear of Elise's passing. She lived a life of happiness and giving love freely to all around her. The three years that I worked with her and as Lisa's aide were fun and times of personal growth for me. It was also challenging, and my eyes were opened to the role of parents of handicapped children. I admire every parent who has this responsibility and feel great love for them, for the care they give to these precious little people. They return so much unconditional love. I hope that you are doing well. Love, Laurel Gaskill.

I remember when Elise spent the night at my house with my little sister She wanted to open the roof and stand up in my car. When I explained to her that I would get a ticket, she quickly told me her dad was a policeman and wouldnt give me a ticket. I was privileged to also work with her at Walmart years later and I never saw her without a huge smile for everyone. I know my family will miss her. But now she and my father John can tease each other as much as they would like.
