She was always there to make sure that they were on their best behavior. Betty was mom to everyone, especially the kids in the neighborhood on Park Ave. Those were the best of times.
Elizabeth was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She even brought her faith into the homes of her family. Elizabeth would meet with her sisters and niece Julie and whoever wanted to be present to pray for all souls, especially the needs of the family. The family is still being blessed by those prayers.
Elizabeth spent 34 years working for Dr. Michael Griffin after her children were grown. It was a job she loved. She loved her patients and Dr. Griffin and his family.
Elizabeth’s children wish for their mom to rest in peace as it was a blessing to be by her side on this journey. As their Dad always said, “I’ll see you in paradise”.
