Elizabeth Alexandra Callaway (Jennings) was born January 24, 1935, to Mr. Joesph and Lucille Thurman Jennings in Senoia, Ga. Her parents, and siblings, preceded her in her death: Rufus Jennings, William Jennings, John E Jennings, SA (SAM) Jennings, and Rosie Gertrude Moore. She attended school in Coweta County, Georgia, Harelson, Georgia and Fairmont High School in Griffin, Georgia.
She moved to Cleveland, Ohio, in 1959. She moved back to Georgia in 2005.
Her presence brought light to everyone, and her memory will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew her.
She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and Summerhill Baptist Church.
Elizabeth was a woman of kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Family was extremely important, and she cherished her Grand and great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the impact she had on everyone she met. Those left to continue the legacy and cherish the memories are her daughter, Mildred Akins, step-children, Tyrone and Chris Farley, Tonya and Rick Smith, Paul and Terri Callaway, and Michael and Mildred Callaway. Grandchildren: Quille Angela and Reggie Gray, and Yiesha Jones. Great-Grand Children: Dominique, Alexandria, Xaniya, Braylen, Kiendo,n and Key'lan. along with several Nieces and Nephews and friends.
Elizabeth was Loved by all and will Dearly be missed.
