Elizabeth A. "Conti" Fabrizio

Elizabeth (Conti) Fabrizio, 88, died on 09/26/25 at her home in Norwalk. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Dominick Sr. and Edith (Gautrau) Conti, she was also predeceased by her brother Dominick Conti Jr., her husband Ralph A. Fabrizio Jr. and her son-in-law John Russell.

She earned her RN Certification at St Raphael's School of Nursing. During her career she found her passion in geriatrics and went on to serve over 20 years as the Supervisor of an Alzheimer's Unit at a local nursing home.

While raising her three children she was an active member of her community. Working at The Westport Nature Center, volunteering for the PTA and Den mother for Cub Scout Troops. She enjoyed reading, the beach, spending time with her family and traveling.

She is survived by her children, Paul Fabrizio of Norwalk and Steven Fabrizio and his wife Patti, of Florida, and Susan Fabrizio Russell of Wilton, four loving grandchildren Michael and Cross Fabrizio and Caitlin and Carly Russell and her longtime companion Frank Mecca.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, September 29, from 10:30-11:30AM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, with her Mass of Christian Burial to begin at Noon at St. Philip's Church, One Fr. Conlon Place, Norwalk. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
