Elizabeth Franklin, age 66, of Quinnesec, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2025, following a courageous battle with ongoing health conditions. A lifelong resident of Dickinson County, Elizabeth was born on April 10, 1959, to the late Clarence and Lavern (Corsi) Walstrom.
A graduate of Kingsford High School, Class of 1977, Elizabeth met her beloved husband, Daniel Franklin, through mutual friends. They were married on August 29, 1981, and together built a loving home filled with creativity, compassion, and deep family bonds.
Elizabeth was a proud mother, devoted homemaker, and deeply empathetic soul. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life-crocheting afghans, creating handmade cards to brighten the lives of friends and family, and collecting pinecones and acorns to sell to nurseries. A gifted artist, she especially loved acrylic pouring and expressed herself beautifully through her artwork.
Her caring nature extended far beyond her immediate family. She was a dedicated caregiver to her parents and a constant source of support to her siblings and loved ones. Elizabeth was known for her willingness to do anything for her children, grandchildren, and husband-her family was truly her greatest treasure.
A devout member of the Iron Mountain Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Elizabeth lived her life with faith, purpose, and a true love for life that inspired those around her.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Franklin; children, Jordan (Bettina Schuster) Franklin and Molly Bose; grandchildren, Wilder Franklin and Grady Schuester; siblings, Susan (Gerald) West, Mindi (Carl) Hockberger, David Walstrom, and Robert (Phyllis) Walstrom; and sister-in-law Virginia Walstrom.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Patricia Whaley, and brother Terry Walstrom.
Private family services will be held. Weber-Hill & Packard Funeral Home of Crandon, Wisconsin, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be directed to www.weberhillfuneralhome.com
Elizabeth will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, creativity, strength, and unwavering love.
