Elizabeth Hamblin 73 of New Philadelphia passed away on July 20, 2025 at Amberwood Manor. Born Dec. 10, 1951 to the late James Cox and Helen (Prall) Powell. She married the late Charles "Ray" Hamblin and lived in Kentucky until his retirement when they returned to Ohio. Elizabeth leaves behind a son James Cox, siblings Richard (Helen) Sommers, Tom(Kelly) Powell, James Cox, David Cox, Marie Cox and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Elizabeth in death besides her parents and husband, brothers Carl Sommers Sr., Robert Sommers Sr. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will take place at a later date.
