Pamela "Pam" Mae Hamblin
December 13, 1950 - October 3, 2025
Pamela "Pam" Mae Hamblin, 74, of De Pere, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, October 3, 2025. Pam was born on December 13, 1950, in Shawano, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Bill and Gloria (Fehrman) Hamblin.
She attended Ashwaubenon schools and graduated from East De Pere High School in 1969. Pam excelled in the arts, especially drawing and watercolor painting. Most of her adult life was spent working at the Family Nutrition Center in Green Bay, where she was well known and loved for her warmth and kindness.
Right after high school, Pam volunteered full time in the Christian ministry, helping others learn about her wonderful God, Jehovah. She remained a devoted member of Jehovah's Witnesses throughout her life and cherished her Bible-based hope of perfect health and everlasting life on a paradise earth.
Pam was a precious, mild person who found her most joy in being a mother to her cherished son Sam and in helping others. Her quiet nature lent itself to being a safe place for those who needed a listening ear. She had a vast knowledge of supplements and natural health that most who knew her benefited from. Many of her longtime friends have expressed their appreciation for her kindness and generosity throughout her life. She also enjoyed baking and sharing those treats with others. Even in her older age, those who showed her favor were often repaid with her delicious pumpkin muffins.
She is survived by her son, Sam Paul; her sisters Patricia (Ronald) Backus and Penelope Young; and many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Hamblin.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1450 Swan Road. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Avery Backus.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Kyla and the caregivers at Caraton Commons De Pere for their kindness and thoughtful attention, and to Unity Hospice and John Hansen for their compassionate care for Pam and her family.
