Elizabeth M. Hood, 69, of Massillon, passed away on August 25, 2024 at The Inn at University Village, following an extended illness.
She was born on February 16, 1955 to the late John and Ruth (Keene) Rolleston in Buffalo, NY.
Beth was a graduate of Charles F. Brush High School, Lyndhurst, OH, California State College, California, PA and became a Licensed Social Worker in 1988. She enjoyed boating, fishing, swimming, and being outdoors. She was warm, welcoming and treated her friends as family. Beth loved her dogs and her fish tanks. She was dedicated to her family and grandchildren.
Beth is survived by her loving children, Jimmy Hood, Billy (Katie) Hood, Jessica (Josh) Boone; grandchildren, Parker, Wyatt, Presley, Colton and Mia; and siblings, Mary Anne (Russ) Hawthorne, Rob (Margie) Rolleston, and Lance (Pam) Rolleston.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" W. Hood.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 10:00am - 11:00am at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, OH, with a Celebration of Beth's Life at 11:00am, with Pastor Brian Ziegler, officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
