Elizabeth Matsko, (nee Mills), 61, of Saddle Brook, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Before retiring, Elizabeth worked for Fair lawn Board of Education in childcare. She was a Member of St. Anne's R.C church in Fair Lawn. Elizabeth was a compassionate person who had a genuine interest in people and their lives. She was always one to help others in any way she could. She was the best mother and wife someone could hope to have. Always giving and especially making the holidays a joyous memorable experience. She will be greatly missed.
Cherished wife of Bernard Matsko. Loving mother to son, Michael Matsko. Treasured sister to Marie Nagel, Heloise and her husband Ronald Zownir, and Frank and his wife Ellen Mills. Beloved aunt to Ronald, Kyle, Brian, Josh, and Meghan. Predeceased by her sister, Diane Harrison.
Family will receive friends on Monday March 31, 2025 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 9am on Tuesday April 1, 2025, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass at St. Anne's R.C. Church 15-05 St. Anne's Street Fair Lawn. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Elizabeth's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org
