Knowing Miss Ellen has been a blessing in my life. In the years I´ve known her, we have been on many adventures. We shared a love of traveling, country music, cruising, gambling, giving, thrifting, mischief and much more. I pictured her being a big part of my retirement years, and making a million more memories. Losing her took a big part of my heart.

My dearest and best friend, we all grew up together in Mel Bch. Ellie as I called her, cuz my name is also Ellen. We were so excited when they moved down. Finally, another family moved into town, and we were so excited because there were other kids to play with. LOL, we had a blast growing up together. They had a Street Light at the corner of their St. The good ole days of kick ball, baseball, red light green light tag, those were great times. When more people moved in around the neighborhood Ellie thought it would be a good idea to set up a bake sale right in front of her house. and that we did. Thats before we were old enough to start babysitting. Ellie always had a will and a way to make money. After all she had a big Family. But that money was hers. We saved for our first pair of Levis, our 10speed bikes clothes, etc. I miss you so much my sweet best friend. You gave it a hard fight and I'm glad you will suffer no longer. We will miss you terribly, but I have the best memories of you and the whole Owens Family. I will never forget those great times we had. Rest in Peace my sweet BEST friend. May God Bless you. You will be another Angel; I see when I look up in the evening sky and I will know it is you because it will be shining the Brightest as you always did. LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU

My first memory of Ms. Ellen was at an American Legion Convention. We were introduced and the rest was History. We, along with her husband Mr. Bill, had an exceptional evening hanging out with many Veterans and their families. It was our first of many adventures.
