Elmer Paul Doebler, 94, of Louisville, KY, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025.
Born on April 10, 1930, in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Alma Doebler, Elmer was the eldest of 7 children. He dedicated his career to serving others as an agent for Western and Southern Life Insurance Company for 30 years. Elmer was a man of strong faith, he was a devoted Deacon at Fisherville Church of Christ.
Elmer is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Jo (Lamaster) Doebler; his children, Eric Doebler and Monica Tracy (Anthony); seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers Eugene Doebler (Robert) and Jonathan Doebler.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Elmer was known for his deep faith, his wonderful sense of humor, and his unwavering support for those he loved. He enjoyed wooodworking and reading in his free time.
Elmer's impact on the lives of those who knew him was profound. He was a loyal friend and a loving family man who will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
Visitation will be from 11 am until 2 pm Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home Jeffersontown 10600 Taylorsville Rd. His funeral service will begin right after visitation at 2 pm Tuesday in the Ratterman Chapel. Burial will follow at Elk Creek Cemetery in Taylorsville, KY.
