Mr. Elmore “Punkin” Robinson, Jr., age 50, entered into rest on Friday, September 13, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home with the Reverend Kevin Rivers and the Reverend Waldo Robinson officiating. The committal will follow in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery, Kershaw, SC. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Robinson was born September 15, 1973 in Lancaster, SC a son of Mr. & Mrs. Elmore Robinson, Sr. He was a graduate of Central High School, class of '92. He was also an employee of Tucker Lumber Company with over 14 years of service. Punkin was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church of Kershaw. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed working in the yard, riding his lawnmower, and pulling for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Mr. Elmore was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earlie and Flonnie-Sowell Robinson and also Robert and Maggie-Sowell Hough.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Langley Robinson of the home; son, Jayce Robinson of Hamlet, NC; parents, Elmore & Susie Robinson of Jefferson, SC; step-children, Amy Langley, and James Langley both of Pageland, SC; step-grandchildren, Wyatt, Brodie, Sofie, Da’shauna, Danashia, and Darrick; brothers, Eric Robinson of Shelby, NC, Donovan Robinson of Jefferson, SC, and Darroll Hough of Monroe, NC; sisters, Avis Robinson of Jefferson, SC, and Erica (Samuel) Kelly of Darlington, SC; nieces and nephews, Keja Funderburk, Jaylon Robinson, Mackenzie Clyburn all of Jefferson, SC, Michael Funderburk of Charlotte, NC, Monet Nelson, Darroll Hough, Jr., Mariah Hough, Markee Hough, Mahogany Hough all of Monroe, NC; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709 to assist the family.
