In spite of obstacles she faced growing up, she was a true success story. She was raised by her grandparents who she absolutely adored. Eva was a strong and hard working woman. She studied hard, and attended college and become a psychiatrist. Eva practiced for over 25 years and owned her own practice.
Eva was a Georgia girl at heart who moved to the Northern Neck of Virginia to spend the rest of her days enjoying life on water with her husband. She was proceeded in death by her two sons, Willie "Joey" Neal and Kenny Neal. She is survived by her husband Raymond N. Sydnor.
Graveside services will be held at Fairfields Baptist Church in Burgess, VA on Tuesday August 20th, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:30 pm prior to the service at Currie Funeral Home in Kilmarnock, VA.
A Celebration of life will be held at her home on Saturday August 24th, 2024 at 1pm. Close family and friends are welcome.

There is too much to mention about all the wonderful memories of Eloise. This is very hard to say but to see her obituary and to finally know where she is, in the loving hands of God, was a relief. Not knowing someone's whereabouts is so hard on loved ones, but God is merciful and has now brought her whereabouts to light. We thank our Heavenly Father for giving us peace. Dear one, we will see you when we get to be with Jesus.
