ELOISE SANCHEZ
Eloise Sanchez, 87 was born on October 3, 1936, at home in Yolo, CA. She was one of 11 children of the late Jose and Ignicia Laguna. She passed away at home in Yolo surrounded by her family on July 3, 2024.
She is survived by her children Esther Vasquez (Ernie), Lupe Reynders (Andy), Ernest Flores, Lydia Rios, Robert Sanchez, grandchildren Aaron, Raymond, Angela, Tammy, Michelle, Zane, Delena, Anthony, Jacienta, Silvia, Jessica, Robert Jr., Merianna, Jackie and 20 great grandchildren. She also has sisters Lucy Saldana, Vera Fernandez, Hope Garcia, and Virgina Martinez.
Eloise was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Carmen, Helen, brothers Guadalupe, Tony, Emilio, George Laguna and husband Hank Sanchez.
She loved baseball and little league. She spent many summer days watching her sons and great grandsons pay ball! She worked for many years in the produce industry ending her career with General Produce. She was an active member of Holy Rosary YLGI #122, of Woodland. She also was a member of the Sacramento Blues Society. She had a great passion of life and was able to enjoy baseball, church and music.
Eloise, will be dearly missed by all who knew her but her memory will live on in the hearts of all those she touched.
