Eloy Padrón Soler nació en la Habana, Cuba y falleció a la edad de 82 años en Texas City, Texas, Estados Unidos.
Durante su larga vida Eloy residió en diferentes ciudades y países. Realizó estudios en La Habana, Toccoa- SC y Moscú donde obtuvo el grado de Doctor en Ciencias Biológicas (Bioquímico). Desarrolló su vida laboral principalmente en Cuba y en República Dominicana. Fue un ferviente e incansable investigador y profesor universitario.
A Eloy le sobreviven su esposa Zurina Romay Penabad, sus hijos Eloy y Ana María, sus nietos Christian, Natalie y Luis Ángel. También su nuera Martica, su nuero Luis y sus hermanas Concha y Mariita.
Eloy disfrutaba preparar sabrosas recetas para compartir con amigos. Amaba las plantas, especialmente el cultivo de violetas y orquídeas. Disfrutaba la buena lectura, así como las películas y música de su preferencia.
Fue un fiel esposo, buen padre y excelente amigo.
Su recuerdo permanecerá por siempre en el corazón de quienes compartimos su vida.

Eloy Padrón Soler was born in Havana, Cuba and died at the age of 82 in Texas City Texas, United States of America.
During his long life, Eloy lived in different cities and countries. He completed his studies in Havana, Toccoa-SC and Moscow where he obtained the degree of Doctor in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry). He developed his working life principally in Cuba and the Dominican Republic. He was a fervent and tireless researcher and university professor.
Eloy is survived by his wife Zurina Romay Penabad, his children Eloy and Ana María, his grandchildren Christian, Natalie and Luis Ángel. Also, his daughter-in-law Martica, his son-in-law Luis and his sisters Concha and Mariita.
Eloy enjoyed preparing delicious recipes to share with friends. He loved plants, especially cultivating violets and orchids.
He was a faithful husband, a good father, and an excellent friend.
His memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who shared his life.
