Elvira Iskenderovna Yegiazarova, age 89, of Erie, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025. She was born on June 23, 1935, daughter of the late Iskender Davidyan and Pharanzem Davidyants.
Elvira was a wonderful cook and baker and liked to sew. She was very kind and intelligent and was often compared to Mother Theresa. Elvira was funny and was a loving mother and grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed hosting parties and loved celebrating holidays. Everyone loved her smile and she will be missed by many loving friends.
Elvira is survived by two daughters, Nelli Kampova (Alex Kampov) and Larisa Yegiazarova (Marat Melkumov); five grandchildren, Artem, Dmitriy, Kseniya, Dennis and Vitaliy; one great-grandson, Daniel; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Grant Yegiazarov; one daughter, Emma Grantovna Yegiazarova; two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Services, Inc., 536 West 10th Street, on Monday, February 10th, from 3 to 5 pm. Interment will take place at Erie Cemetery on Tuesday, February 11th at 1 pm.
