Emily LaShay Greene

Emily LaShay Greene, 29, of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on November 3, 2025. She was born on April 3, 1996, in Morristown, Tennessee.
Emily was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her biological mother. She is survived by her loving parents, Clark and Kelly Greene of Spavinaw, Oklahoma; her siblings, Justin Greene and wife Kara of Adair, Oklahoma, Kayla Downing and husband Phil of Ketchum, Oklahoma, Jesse Greene and wife Danielle of Catoosa, Oklahoma, Madison King and husband Ben of Colcord, Oklahoma, Javin Greene of Cleveland, Tennessee, and Jaya Collins and husband Virgil of Sneedville, Tennessee. She is also survived by eight nephews, six nieces, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her best friend, Lacey Lawrence of Oklahoma.
Emily was a bright light to everyone who knew her. She loved drawing, teaching children, and spending time with her nieces and nephews, who brought her endless joy. A graduate of Weleetka High School, Emily attended Ketchum High School until her junior year. She found her calling as a pre-K aide in Weleetka, Oklahoma, where her warmth, creativity, and kindness touched countless young lives.
Emily's final resting place will be in the mountains of Tennessee-a place she deeply loved and where she shared many cherished memories with family.
A celebration of Emily's life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Langley First Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor her beautiful spirit.
Emily will be remembered for her strong will, her laughter, and the love she shared so freely. Though she is gone too soon, her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
