Lelia Kathleen “Lil” Gilday, 70-year-old Eucha resident, passed away October 31, 2025, in West Siloam, Oklahoma. She was born on January 22, 1955, in Eureka, California to Ephraim and Irma (Everett) Kirkland.
Lil graduated with an associate’s degree in legal studies and worked for many years as a patent paralegal until her retirement. After retirement, she moved back to Oklahoma to live with her sister. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, and spending time with family and friends.
Lil is survived by her children, Heather Allen, Steven Allen, Jr., and Keith Gilday; granddaughter, Brianna Toepfer; sister, Elizabeth Griner; nieces, Delann Mahurin, Allie Ames, Melissa Franklin, and Diona Griner; nephew Bradley Kirkland; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, Drew Kirkland, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 A.M., Friday, November 7,2025 at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11:30 A.M. at the Ketchum Cemetery with Pastor Monte Youman officiating.
