Emma Lee Bolden passed away suddenly on March 2, 2024, at TidalHealth in Seaford Delaware, at the age of 83.
Emma was born February 18, 1941, in Savannah Georgia to the late Will and Christan Bennett Brown.
Emma grew up in a loving Christian Home with her siblings. Eventually, the family moved to Maryland. Emma worked the fields with her parents until she was old enough to find work on her own. She loved watching her Western TV shows and she found happiness surrounded by her Family.
In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her sister, Rosalee Brown; husband, Wallace Bolden, Jr. and Shirley Collins. They lived a life that produced six beautiful children.
Emma is survived by her daughter, Glenda Washington (Lawrence) of Seaford, DE; sons, Maurice Bolden of Hurlock MD, David Bolden (Barbara) of Greensboro, MD, and Gregory Bolden (Leslie) of Henderson, MD; one brother, Will Brown of San Diego, CA; 10 grandchildren, Donna Bolden of Dover, DE, Karen Pierre (Yvelt) of Seaford, DE, Kisha Bolden (Willie) of Harrington, DE, Lisa Walston (Gerald) of Salisbury, MD, Katelyn Cowgill of Dover, DE, Gregory Bolden, Jr., Zhykeia Bolden and Marche'la Bolden all of Marydel, DE, and Felicia Snow (Harry) of Camden, DE; 15 great-grandchildren; and had countless nieces and nephews and cousins.
She loved us all and was a friend to so many.
