Emma Jean Munsie

Emma Jean (Jones) Munsie, 82, of Knobley Road, Keyser, WV, died Monday, June 26, 2023 at UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland, MD.
Born on November 27, 1940 in Mount Storm, WV, she was a daughter of the late Olin B. and Oreta Grace (Moreland) Jones. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Donald S. Munsie on March 14, 2001 and a brother William E. Jones.
Mrs. Munsie was a graduate of Bayard High School and was formerly employed at Moore's Poly-Kleen in Keyser and the Westvaco Luke Mill. She attended Mt. Zion Church on Knobley Road. She also was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed raising and tending to her flower gardens.
Surviving is her daughter, Rhonda L. Beeman and husband Michael of Keyser; a sister-in-law, Mary Jane Jones of Keyser and her feline companion, "Lucky."
Friends will be received at the Mt. Zion Church on Monday, July 3, 2023 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted immediately following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Eisenhour officiating.
Interment will be in the Cabin Run Cemetery, Keyser.
The Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
