Alex was a graduate of Pensacola High School and Pensacola Jr. College, where he graduated in computer electronics with honors.
Alex was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother, Alice Sapp. He is survived by his father, Emmanuel (Debra) Sapp, of Valley, AL, and his best friend and aunt, Brenda Stone. Alex also had many other aunts, uncles and cousins that held a special place in his heart.
Alex served three years in the Army and after completing basic training at Ft. Leonardwood, MO, he was stationed in Breneham, Germany, as a telecommunication specialist. After his departure he worked as a mechanic for many years.
Alex had many hobbies, but his favorite was playing pool and talking smack with his cousin, Nate.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. Visitation will be one hour prior at 10:00 AM. Reverend Brad Moffett will be officiating.
Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, is entrusted with arrangements. You may express condolences online at www.fcfhs.com.
