Enoch Edwin Culp, beloved Father and Grandfather, age 96, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on February 24, 2025. He was born on August 8, 1928 to the late Robert Samuel and Velia Mae Culp. He was a graduate of Auburn University, served his country for a few years in the Air Force, and spent his professional career as an Electrical Engineer with TVA.
He loved gardening, traveling, growing his vegetables, and reading books. He loved the outdoors. He was also very active at his church, First Baptist of Cleveland, spending many years as a Deacon there.
He is preceded in death by his parents and spouse (Dorothy Elaine Culp); Two sons : Joel Douglas Culp and Gregory Lynn Culp; sister: Elizabeth Culp Lockhart from Cleveland, TN, and brother Robert Harold Culp of Clanton, AL.
Surviving children: Michael Culp Sr. (Theresa), Paula Culp, and Noel Culp; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren. In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Enoch's family will receive friends from 4pm until 7pm on Thursday February 27th at the Ridge Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 7pm. Rev. Tom Wickes will be officiating. He will be laid to rest on Friday February 28th at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 11am.
