Eric R. Aaldenberg Jr., 64, of West Chester, PA, passed away on July 19, 2025. He was born in Bayside, NY to Doris and Eric Aaldenberg Sr., where he spent his childhood, and graduated from Benjamin Cardozo High school. Eric then achieved a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and M.S. in Computer Science from Villanova University. He started his career at General Electric Aerospace and then worked for Vanguard for over 25 years.

Eric will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, and "Pop Pop". He cherished spending time with his family more than anything. After retirement, he enjoyed relaxing at the beach in Stone Harbor and playing with his grandkids. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, loved Dutch chocolate sprinkles, and could start a conversation with anyone he met.

He is survived by his wife Susan Aaldenberg, his children Amy (husband Brendan), Emily (husband Jared), and Brian (wife Amanda), and grandchildren Nathan, Benjamin, Graham, Owen, and Alice. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
