My Husband's PHD is out of TEMPLE in Phila., Pa., which was our initial attraction to Dr. Lang when we moved up from Key West. He was a great guy and was everything the others here mentioned. Sadly, his reputation is tarnished by closing the office so soon while records have not been passed on, and scripts can not be refilled before our new doctor appointments begin. I understand loss but little thought has been given to Dr Lang's loyal patients and their loss.

My condolences to his family, his office staff, and his dog Coco. I will also offer my condolences to his patients, I am one of them. After reading some of the shared comments, I see that not only did Dr. Lang make me feel special during my office visit, he also made all of you feel special. Shoot, I thought that I was the only one (kidding). Dr. Lang was by far the best Doctor that I have ever had. I can honestly say that Dr. Lang saved my life! He never judged me as good or bad, he only wanted to help me succeed and become as healthy as could be. I loved Dr. Lang as if he were a member of my family. I could go on and on about Dr. Lang, but that would that would take up the whole page. God Bless Dr. Lang's wife, family, dog and his patients and his wonderful staff. He will be greatly, sincerely missed. We will never meet a Doctor like him again!
My sincerest question to all who reads this " where do we go now"?
I know that no Doctor could ever replace Dr. Eric Lang. He was the best ever, but now we have to find another Doctor, please help me on this journey to find a Doctor that Dr. Lang would approve of in his absence. My name is Justin Apakian and my number is 954-445-3276, [email protected] if anyone has a recommendation it will be greatly appreciated. God Bless everyone that was lucky enough to know Doc!! PS: He always spoke very highly of his family. He was very proud of you all.
Best regards, Justin Apakian

When checking out, I heard a lady talking softly to Dr. Lang about not being able to afford her prescription. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Dr. Lang takeout his wallet and give her more than enough to get her medicine. His care for patients and generosity were common for him and rare among people.

I didn't know he had a bachelors in phycology until his passing, but it makes perfect sense thinking about how much time he spent talking to me about everything from my relationship problems to business issues , he was my doctor and my shrink, he gave me legal advice and stern needing to hear advice that might not always be so nice. But he was always a friend and treated like an equal while simultaneously telling me what I needed to do. I will miss him greatly and it just tears me up that his condition turned out to be so dire. Last time we spoke was October and he looked fine. He still had some hope at that point but by his own admission I could tell it was bad. He really was the best doctor I ever had and I've had many over the years, he was the first one who I felt like genuinely cared and I just wish I had got to see him outside his practice to hangout. I can't imagine how his wife feels losing him so suddenly, he was really a friend and he won't be forgotten.

Dr Lang was a very special person and excellent physician. He always took the time to listen and to explain. I ended up the doggie candy-man as I always carried treats for Coco and Willow. I had seen him reach into him wallet to help a patient who was out of money. He was generous with his knowledge, wisdom, time, and resources. I miss him.

Eric was my friend. We graduated Lower Moreland H.S. together in 1973. Over the years we have been able to reconnect in Melbourne FL. Specifically, we both enjoyed playing music (classic rock). We played at Space Coast Harley Davidson and really enjoyed the experience. Eric was our bass player and I played the drums. I'm going to miss these great times and wish his family, especially his wife Feryn, our sincere condolences.

This was one of the most caring men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I was a patient of Dr.lang for almost 7 years . He honestly saved my life! He was more then my doctor, he was my friend. The world is a smaller place today with this unexpected loss. To his family I wish you peace and strength through this very tough time. I am truly grateful to be able to say he was my Doctor but he was also ERIC to me! I cannot count how many times this man kept me on the right path in life! I will always remember everything he taught me about life! And I will NEVER forget him and his kind soul! Rest in Peace fine Sir! God bless
