Funeral services for Mr. Eric Ryan Megison will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Eric Ryan Megison, born December 30, 1961, of Colfax, passed from this life on June 1, 2023, at his residence.
Eric worked for many years as an offshore crane operator. He loved his life and his family as much as he did his motorcycles, being on the river, or telling a good joke. In his words, "He was a jack of all trades and master on none." He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Eric is preceded in death by his father, David "Buddy" Megison; and his nephew, Brett Daniel Megison.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty-nine years, Polly Megison; one daughter, Erin Wallmuth and husband Josh; one son, Jeremy Megison and wife Christin; his mother, Peggy Thomas and husband Randy; his siblings, David Megison and wife Dianna, Wesley Megison and wife Linda, Renee Billingsley and husband Donnie, Scott Bloodworth and wife Samantha, and Ricky Meyer, and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Kynlee Megison, Karter Megison, Kooper Megison, Arya Wallmuth, Ayla Wallmuth, and Izabella Wallmuth; his furbabies, Tigger and Rosie; and a host of family and friends.
