He was 72.
He was born on June 4, 1952, in Bronx, NY to parents Richard Ool and Alice DiBernardo.
Eric was well known in the Middletown area for his bowling and softball. In 2002, he was inducted into
the Middletown Bowling Association's Hall of Fame. He also loved watching his kids grow up playing
sports and getting friends and family together for his annual summer and Super Bowl parties.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years Lynn Ool: two sons and their spouses, Kevin and Alexis Ool, Ryan
and Danielle Ool; siblings and their spouses, Rick and Jan Ool, David and Nelsy Ool, Joanne and Brian
Tietjen, Alison and Ed Falkenstern, Paula and Travis Tate; and 4 grandchildren, Cameron, Ryder, Everly
and Anderson.
Visitation hours will be held on Saturday November 2, 2024, from 12-2pm at the Martinez-Morse Funeral
Home, 33 Railroad Ave., Middletown, NY.
