Eric Thinnes passed away suddenly on September 12, 2024 at the young age of 58. He lived his entire life in Delhi Twp. Though he faced many challenges in life, he had a kind soul and a very generous spirit. He traveled the entire country with his brother Tom. He loved going to Cyclones games and he really loved eating out. He had a knack for telling jokes that some people just didn’t appreciate.
Though he couldn’t drive, he loved cars. Car museums, car shows, vintage cars – he loved cars. He could tell you details about various cars from memory. This all started with his obsession with Hot Wheels as a young child.
Eric was the son of the late Carl & Willie Janis Thinnes. He is survived by his siblings Tony (Ruth), Steve, Valerie & Tom Thinnes. He was preceded in death by his sister Lisa Marie Thinnes. He was an uncle to his nephew Tony Thinnes. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
