It is with great sorrow that the family of Erick James Duhon, Jr. announces his sudden passing at the age of 17, following a tragic automobile accident on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
Erick was born February 13, 2006, in New Iberia, Louisiana, to Erick James Duhon, Sr. and Cindy (Perez) Miller. He enjoyed life as a dedicated student.
Left behind to cherish fond memories of her son include his mother and her husband, Cindy and Van Miller; a sister, Riley Hunt; two brothers, Justin Cowart and Jesse Viator; along with numerous other relatives, friends and classmates.
Erick’s untimely departure has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him and will be mourned deeply by family, friends and the entire community.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 19, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville.
The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 20, with Minister Grady Cowan officiating.
Burial of cremains will be private.
