Erik Lamont Spencer Jr. gained his heavenly wings on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Born to Lorraine Schofield and Erik Spencer Sr. He was a 2016 graduate of Cumberland Regional High School and a former student of Lincoln University. Erik was a son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend whose spirit could light up even the heaviest of hearts.

He was currently employed with Verizon.

Erik lived with purpose, led by love, guided by faith, and grounded in God. He believed in grace, forgiveness, and the power of prayer. His strength came not from the world, but from his trust in something higher. Even through life's challenges, Erik's faith never wavered. It shaped the way he loved people, treated others, and carried himself with humility and pride.

He had a gift for connection; the kind of presence that made people feel seen, understood, and valued. His laughter filled rooms, his smile lifted spirits, and his words often reminded others that no matter what they faced, God wasn't done with them yet. Erik was a listener, a restorer, and a light in the lives of those around him. Though his time here was far too short, Erik lived fully. He found beauty in small moments, strength in faith, and joy in the people he loved most. His legacy will forever remind us to love deeply, forgive freely, and walk with God through every season. #FreedomWorld

In addition to his parents: Lorraine Schofield and Erik L. Spencer Sr.; he is survived by his siblings: Jermaine Clark, Erika Smith-Spencer, Ka'Leen Spencer, Derik Harrison, Emanye Royster, Savannah Schofield.
