I met Ernie through a business transaction and we became fast friends. He was a fierce and loyal friend who adored his wife Chrissi and cherished his family. He was the best friend anyone could ever ask for and I am d word to blessed to have been his friend. May God being comfort to Chrissi, his children, siblings and all of us who were his friend and love him.

Tommy I´m so sorry for your Family´s loss. Ernie was always very nice to me and always smiling and joking. He gave me the nickname "Jimmy new suits ". Which is a funny story. Sad hearing this news. Our deepest condolences Tommy to your entire Family !

Condolences to Ernie´s loved ones. I had the gift of crossing paths with Ernie in 1972. We threw baseballs together and he was a great guy.

Dear Chrissi and family,
I am so sorry for your great loss. I never met Ernie but I felt like I knew him from my dad. He always enjoyed his talks with Ernie outside of Meskill´s old house. He really admired Ernie. I hope you find peace in his beautiful legacy of a life well lived with love, family and friends and knowing he is no longer suffering.
My deepest sympathies and love,
Kathleen (Graham) Hoffman

Grew up with Ernie and his friends the Cosgrove´s . I lived on Montour St. We all went to Cardinal Dougherty as well. The best place to be back then was Jardel Recreation center. Oh the stories with all of his friends Drew , Pat , Dave and so many others. May your fond memories of your husband sustain you during this difficult time. Prayers for you and your family. He was a kind and thoughtful soul.
Condolences ,
