Ernest March Fahl, 69, passed away Tuesday March 6, 2025 at the Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna. He was born July 14, 1955 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Charles and Mary (Kovach) Fahl. Ernest graduated from Crestwood High School in 1974. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Lakewood, Ohio, where he saved up money to pursue his dream career in New York City. He was later able to live that dream out as a successful artist and musician there. Ernest had a loving and free spirit with a heart of gold. He enjoyed taking time to see the beauty in the world around him. He also had a profound faith in God, into whose arms he has entered. He was preceded in death by his siblings Priscella Lewis, Charles Ernest Fahl and William Fahl. Survivors include his siblings Barbara Blizard, Larry Fahl, Harvey Fahl, Mary Kay Goetschius and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday March 11, 2025 from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. The funeral service will be held immediately after. Private burial service with the family will follow in Fairview Cemetery Hiram, Ohio. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations please be made to the Elton John Aids Foundation.
