Ernest Jimenez III "Neto", 46, went home with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 surrounded by family. Neto was born July 5, 1975 in Ulysses Kansas, to Ernest Jimenez Jr. and Elvia Luera. He was raised in Brownfield, TX. Neto graduated from Brownfield High School in 1993 and went to SPC for one year. He worked for T&T Earth Movers.

Neto is survived by his parents, 2 brothers, Jamey Jimenez and family and Rocky Jimenez, 2 daughters, Destiny Jimenez Riojas and Kaitlyn Jimenez, girlfriend Veronica Franco and family and stepdaughters, Aniya Franco "princess" and Avyanah Franco 'mini-me", four aunts and one uncle, many nieces and nephews and lots of family. He was preceded in death by grandpa Margarito Suarez, grandma "wela" Dora Suarez, uncle Everardo Suarez "Lalo".

Neto had a passion for sports, especially baseball. He attended Trinity Church in Lubbock. Neto will be remembered as a loving son, brother, boyfriend, stepdad, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. His last years he always was looking forward to going to church and having a great lunch after, and before going home he had to make a quick stop at Starbucks for the ride home. In his last years, he grew strong in his faith and was a man of God and told his testimony to anyone who would listen. There was not a day he didn't tell his mama he loved her. He loved to say "I love you more" to his girlfriend and girls before hanging up the phone. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and will be deeply missed but he has gone before us to give us a spot, it is not a good-bye but see you later.

"I fought the good fight, I have finished the race. I have kept the faith". 2 Timothy 4:7

Viewing will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 10:00 am -8:00 pm at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Funeral services will take place Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm at United Family Fellowship Church at 1004 E. Broadway Street.
