Ervin Mason, a born again Christian went home to be with his lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday night the 16th of June 2023. He is the son of the late Mr. Roy A. Mason and the late Mrs. Donnie Mason. Ervin loved his family, he was a devoted husband and loving father of two children. He was married to his first love Ina for 62 years who he married and devoted his whole life to. He loved gardening and everyone who ever met him has experienced his generosity, love and kindness.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Mason; sister, Evelyn Mason; brother, Stanley Mason.
He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Ina Beck Mason; son, Austin Anthony (Tony) Mason and partner Asa Cairns; sisters, Linda Mason, Shirley Anderson and husband Bill Anderson; brothers, Elmer Mason and wife Joanne Mason, Ernest Mason; Sister-In-Law, Ann Mason.
Family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Tony Stallings officiating. Interment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville.
