Erwin E. Clark, 86, of Berkshire passed away peacefully on Nov. 15, 2025, after a period of declining health. He was born July 27, 1939, in Berkshire. He was predeceased by his parents Edward E. Clark, Sr. and Erma L. (Clark) Clark and brothers Earl and Edward, Jr.
Erwin graduated from Newark Valley High School in 1957 where he lettered in football and baseball. He was a self-employed Home Improvement contractor who worked on many homes in the Southern Tier. Word of mouth by satisfied customers was the only advertisement he needed. He coached Little League Baseball and Pee Wee Football and for many years belonged to bowling and golf leagues. He was a collector of antique tools and often went to auctions, antique shows and shops looking for tools made in Berkshire.
Erwin is survived by his wife of 66 years, Glenda (Snapp) Clark, daughter Teresa (Randall) Miller, sons Craig (Michele) and Brian (Jenny) Clark. Grandchildren, Gerald and Ryan Miller, Joshua (Mikenna), Christopher, Eric, Sarah and Alyssa Clark, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Erwin’s memory may be made to the Berkshire Historian, P.O. Box 124, Berkshire, NY 13736 or Berkshire Community Association, Inc., P.O. Box 113, Berkshire, NY 13736.
