Estella M. "Penny" Gibbs

Estella 'Penny' Gibbs Obituary Estella M. "Penny" Gibbs, 98, of Chester, confidently joined her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Pepperberry Suites in Chester.
Born on November 13, 1926, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, she was the proud daughter of the late Bert and Florence Tebay Brown. Penny was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gibbs, and her brother, Harold Brown.
A graduate of Parkersburg High School, Penny embraced her role as a homemaker, dedicating herself to her sons upbringing. She was an active member of the Chester United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society, engaging fully in the activities she loved, including bowling and line dancing. She leaves behind her son, Michael Gibbs, and his wife, Tracy, of East Liverpool, along with her grandchildren, Kelsey and Kyle Thompson, and Connor Bogart, who will carry her spirit forward.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of The Orchards for their exceptional care, compassion, and being a part of her life for the past 10 years.
