Ethan Anderson Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Ethan Ryan Anderson, gone too soon on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of 17.
Ethan was born in St. Louis, MO on April 14, 2008, to Ryan and Irene Anderson. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend whose bright smile and kind heart touched everyone he met.
Ethan was a senior at Fort Zumwalt East, where he was known for his strong work ethic, easy smile, and genuine kindness. He was passionate and dedicated to his training in Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, and weight lifting, always striving to challenge himself and grow stronger - both in body and in spirit. He enjoyed playing soccer, through which he gained many lasting friendships.
Beyond his athleticism, Ethan was the rock of his friendship being loyal, steady, and always ready with a word of encouragement or a laugh when it was needed most. Ethan was beginning to find his way through Christ at Grace River Church. He took great pride in working with his cousins doing construction in the summer, where he learned the value of hard work and loved being part of something that built and helped others. Ethan valued the idea of helping others. After high school he had plans on attending college to become an adolescent psychiatrist.
Ethan had a natural energy that filled every room he entered. He was never one to sit still for long, constantly finding ways to help, to connect, and to make others smile. His kind heart, determination, and bright spirit touched the lives of so many, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his parents, Ryan and Irene Anderson; his sister, Makena Anderson; his grandparents, Ron Anderson, Rebecca Neupert, Tim Neupert; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold them in their hearts.
Ethan is preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Jean Price-Marshall.
A scholarship will be set up in honor of Ethan through Fort Zumwalt East. More information will be provided very soon allowing memorial donations to be made.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th, 2025 from 4-8pm at Hutchens- Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center with the funeral service on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025, beginning at 11am.
